Live from Laurel Canyon

About this event

This Live from Laurel Canyon show explores John Lennon and Harry Nilsson’s “lost weekend,” during which the two friends made music (and mischief) for 18 months starting in the summer of 1973. The show dives into Lennon’s and Nilsson’s individual catalogs, the impact they had on each other’s work, and their collaborative efforts during this period, and it shares the stories that inspired these unique songwriters. Lennon and Nilsson features Live from Laurel Canyon’s Brian Chartrand as narrator and vocalist; Otto D’Agnolo, who has performed in the John Lennon tribute show Becoming Lennon, as a vocalist and guitarist; Todd Chuba on drums; Lamar Gaines on keys; Adam Armijo on electric guitar; and Mario Mendivil on bass.
