SUMMARY:Dorsten
DESCRIPTION:Dorsten is the Arizona-based sibling duo of vocalist Sophie and
multi-instrumentalist Alex. Their songs pair folk-inspired storytelling w
ith striking vocals\, moving seamlessly from stripped-down acoustic moment
s to expansive\, anthemic arrangements that create a sound both intimate a
nd cinematic. Since releasing their debut EP\, "To the River\," in 2024\,
Dorsten has performed at major festivals including Summerfest and the Edmo
nton Folk Music Festival while touring throughout the United States\, Cana
da and Europe. The duo writes\, records and produces their own music\, bri
nging a distinctly personal approach to every song and performance.\n\nhtt
