SUMMARY:Big Richard
DESCRIPTION:The world-class musicians of Big Richard initially convened in
2021 for a festival date. The quartet performed what was supposed to be a
one-off gig as though it had been together for years\, bursting with jaw-d
ropping virtuosity\, playfully irreverent stage banter\, stunning four-par
 t harmonies\, imaginative arrangements\, a refreshingly eclectic repertoir
 e\, and a healthy dose of lady rage.\n\nBig Richard delivers ferocious\, u
napologetic acoustic music with big energy and even bigger chops\, siphoni
ng from traditional and modern bluegrass\, old-time music\, classical\, co
untry\, and pop and masterfully mashing up genres and reinventing beloved
traditional tunes. Its live shows are raucous\, emotional\, and irreverent
\, mixing ripping instrumentals\, dark humor\, and raw\, socially charged
songs. The quartet’s latest album\, 2026’s Pet\, was recorded live to
capture the chaos and catharsis that define its performances.\n\nhttps://s
